Terms of Service

This website and the digital guides sold on it are published by Mysteries Group LLC ("we", "us"). By buying or downloading anything here you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, do not buy.

The most important term, and it is not boilerplate. Everything we publish is educational material. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed clinician who can examine you. Nothing in our guides tells you to start, stop, change or adjust any medication, supplement or dose. Where a guide describes what a drug's FDA-approved label says, or what a published trial measured, it does so to help you understand what may be offered to you and to have a better conversation with your clinician — those descriptions are not instructions for you. Do not delay seeing a clinician because of anything you read here. If any of the warning signs listed on the home page apply to you, see one promptly.

1. What you are buying

Digital files, delivered by email and by a download page, for your own personal use:

There is nothing physical, nothing is shipped, and there is no app, login or account. Prices are in US dollars and every purchase is a one-time payment. Nothing on this site is a subscription, nothing renews, and we do not keep a card on file.

2. What you are not buying

You are not buying a diagnosis, a treatment plan, a result, a timeline, a personalised review of your case, answers to medical questions, or access to a clinician. We do not offer any of those, at any price, and nobody here will provide them if you ask. If you write to us with a medical question, the answer will be that it belongs to someone who can examine you.

3. Delivery, and what to do if it does not arrive

Your files are sent to the email address used at checkout, usually within a couple of minutes, and the same links sit on the download page you land on after paying. Keep that email: the links do not expire and there is nothing to log into. If something does not arrive, check your spam folder first, then write to mysteriesmediallc@gmail.com and we will send it by hand. We would rather hear from you than have you assume it was lost.

4. Refunds

Our refund terms are The Source-Check Promise, set out in full on the Refund Policy page. In short: write to us within 60 days and we will refund you in full.

5. Your licence, and what you may not do

Buying a guide gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to read it, print it, and use the printable sheets for yourself and your own household — including printing a sheet to hand to your own clinician. You may not resell it, republish it, upload it to a file-sharing site or a paid community, or reproduce substantial parts of it publicly. Quoting a line with attribution is fine and always will be; distributing the file is not.

6. Sources, accuracy, and how we handle being wrong

Every statement of fact in our guides carries the source and the year it came from, on the page where it appears. Where the research disagrees, both sides are printed. Where we went looking for something and could not confirm it in a primary source, it is listed in an appendix instead of being printed as fact.

That is our standard, not a promise of perfection. Medical research moves, labels are revised, and prices we quote carry the date we checked them and will go out of date. If you find a factual claim with no source behind it, or one that a primary source does not support, tell us: we will correct it, and that finding is one of the things the refund covers.

7. Commercial neutrality

We do not sell, recommend, endorse or receive payment from any product, brand, device, clinic, laboratory, telehealth service or supplement named in our guides. Where a price appears, it is a published price with the date we checked it, given so you can compare what you are being asked to pay. Where a product is named, it is because a trial, a label or a guideline named it first.

8. How the guides were made

They were researched and written with the help of AI tools, working from primary sources — FDA-approved product labeling, the NCBI Bookshelf, American Academy of Dermatology guidance and peer-reviewed dermatology journals. This is stated inside the files as well as here. The guides are published under The Follicle Field Guide imprint and are not written by, reviewed by, or endorsed by a licensed physician; no clinical credentials are claimed for their authorship.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the guides or this website is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your statutory rights.

Because it matters more than the paragraph above: decisions about your health are made by you together with a clinician who has examined you. Our material exists to make that conversation better informed, and it is not a substitute for it.

10. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Your card statement will show a charge from us or from Stripe on our behalf.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. The terms that applied on the day you bought are the ones that govern your purchase.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Mysteries Group LLC is organised, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
